Ms. Baaba Dadzie has had experience in the mental health field working with both adults and children. She has worked in a specialist team in the United Arab Emirates providing neuropsychological assessments and therapy for patients presenting with different neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative and somatoform disorders.

Baaba specializes in working therapeutically with adults with mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress management difficulties , addiction, trauma, emotion regulation and neuropsychological difficulties. She uses an eclectic approach in her work tailored to individual need.

Baaba is registered with the Ghana Psychology Council

Psychological Assessments

To help the clinician develop better insight into the client’s intellectual, emotional and behavioural functioning, the clinician will conduct a range of assessments during sessions

Individual Psychotherapy

The client is scheduled to spend one on one time with a clinical psychologist or psychotherapist who can assess, diagnose and treat mental, emotional and personality problems using talk therapy

Group Psychotherapy

Trained professionals work with clients in groups and help clients address their feelings, deal with grief, cope with stress, overcome addictions and build resilience in distress using non-medical methods

Support for Children and Adolescents

Evidenced based treatment modalities are used to help children and young adults deal with life challenges. This is an effective avenue for open expression.

Mindfulness Practice

Mindfulness-based programmes offered at intervals – for adolescents and adults – to help participants make betterr choices and improve their quality of life.

Online Therapy

Online therapy uses a similar approach to in-person psychotherapy to help, where the clinician builds a therapeutic relationship and supports the client through their challenges. Clients are however able to access the professional from the comfort of their home or from a location of their choice (outside the therapy room). This has become a relevant service with the advent of the COVID-19.

Corporate Services

Training sessions are focused on increasing awareness of mental health in the work environment. Sessions are structured to help managers and business owners successfully resolve conflict, manage change, address workplace related trauma and address individual needs through a structured employee assistance programme.

Referrals

Clients who require psychotropic medication and other psychiatric interventions or the services of other medical professional have access to a referral system where the client will be paired with a professional who is licensed to meet thier medical needs
