• OUR TREATMENT POLICY
    This document contains important information regarding our services, business practices and your rights and responsibilities as our client.
  • PSYCHOLOGICAL & PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES:
    Services include; individual psychotherapy, psychological assessment, behaviour therapy, group therapy, or psychiatry (referrals when required).
  • THE THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP:
    Clients are encouraged to be open and honest with the clinician, to enhance the development of a valuable therapeutic relationship.
  • CONFIDENTIALITY
    Keeping client information confidential is of utmost importance. Clients should note that there are limits to observing confidentiality and will be discussed with the client during the first session.
  • APPOINTMENTS
    Appointments are once a week and last 50-60 minutes.
  • TELETHERAPY
    Teletherapy sessions are ordinarily available to clients who have had an initial in person assessment/evaluation with the clinician. *Flexibility of teletherapy services – clients to discuss with clinicians*
  • CONTACTING YOUR CLINICIAN
    Working hours are from Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm, Saturday 9 am – 4 pm and Sundays by appointment.
  • ENDING THERAPY
    Generally, therapy ends when goals established at the beginning of therapy have been accomplished.
  • COMPLAINTS, GRIEVANCES, & RISK
    It is your right as a client to present any concerns or grievances about services and receive a response in a time-sensitive manner.
  • FEES, BILLING, & PAYMENT
    Fees will be communicated prior to the booking of an appointment and are collected at the end of each session
  • An extended version of this document will be provided during the initial visit with the clinician.
